Your student data never reaches our servers.
When you upload a gradebook, it is processed in your own browser for that session and then gone. It is never sent to us, never written to our database, and never retained. We persist nothing about you on our side at all, not even your settings: those now live in your browser. Two other things can be kept on your device, both under your control. Your roster, but only if you tick the box to remember it, so you are not re-uploading the same file every week. And a scrambled record of who was emailed recently, so the app can warn you before a parent gets a second message in the same week. That record holds one-way hashes and dates, never names or addresses, and it clears itself after seven days.
Most education tools collect and store far more student data than they need to. We did the opposite. Euclidia Outreach never receives it, so there is no database of student records on our side to leak, sell, or breach. FERPA exists to keep schools in control of student data. Our design keeps that control with you, the teacher, by never holding the data in the first place.
